NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the log of the Newburyport police:

Nancy Surette, 45, 672 Boston St., Lynn, was arrested Saturday at 1:04 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Officer Charles Voderis made the arrest on Pond Street.

Michael Scott, 45, 672 Boston St., Lynn, was arrested Saturday at 1:45 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer. Officers Joshua Tierney and Robert Vatcher made the arrest on Highland Avenue.

Michael Murray, 17, 9 Marquand Lane, Newburyport, was arrested yesterday at 10:51 a.m. and charged with leaving the scene of property damage and malicious destruction of property over $250. Officers Tierney and Vatcher made the arrest on High Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the log of the Salisbury police:

Richard A. Smith, 32, 572 Tyler Bridge Road, Hinesburg, Vt., was arrested Friday at 7:27 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and breaking and entering in the night time while leaving a person in fear. Officers Robert Roy and Craig Lesage made the arrest on Beach Road.

Daniel W. O'Rourke, 60, 2-07 Northend Blvd., Salisbury, was arrested Saturday at 1:49 p.m. on four warrants and also charged with driving after license suspension (subsequent offense), furnishing a false name and destruction of property under $250. Officers James Pollard and Mark Thomas made the arrest on 16th W Street.

James Yokley, 27, 36 Cherryhill Drive, Wakefield, was arrested yesterday at 12:36 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Officers Lesage, Patrick Szymkowski and Timothy River made the arrest on Ocean Front Drive.

NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the log of the Newbury police:

David M. Bovio, 42, 13 Stone Row Lane, Georgetown, was issued a summons Friday at 8:04 p.m. on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order. Officer Michael Balsley issued the summons on Low Street.

William P. Sweeney, 51, 160 Linebrook Road, Ipswich, was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and marked lanes violation. Neil J. McCarthy, 33, 44 Bicknell Ave., Methuen, was issued a summons on charges of driving without a license and marked lanes violation. Sgt. Lawrence Kent made the arrest on the Newburyport Turnpike.

AMESBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Amesbury police:

Louie J. Caron, 40, 3C North Hunt Road, Amesbury, was arrested Friday at 10:42 p.m. on a warrant. Officers Matthew Cunningham and Raymond Landry made the arrest on Martin Road.

MERRIMAC

The following item was recorded in the log of the Merrimac police:

Jonathan Hamilton, 25, 21 Odell Ave., Beverly, was arrested yesterday at 11:30 a.m. and charged with larceny of a vehicle. Officer Steven Ringette made the arrest on I-495 south in the rest area. The arrest was initiated after police spotted the vehicle on Pleasant Street in Newburyport. Newburyport and Amesbury police assisted Merrimac.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the West Newbury police:

Melinda Sybert, 24, 39 Nelson Ave., Georgetown, was arrested Saturday at 12:49 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with an open container of alcohol and marked lanes violation. Officers Danielle Connolly and Gregory Whitney made the arrest on Main Street.
