NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on Thursday, Oct. 29. Judge Michael Uhlarik presided over the following jury-waived cases:

John R. Conley, 49, 2 Hancock St., Peabody; failure to stop for police, guilty, $100 fine, $50 to Victim-Witness Fund; driving with suspended license, not responsible; Registry of Motor Vehicles safety standards not met, not responsible (Amesbury).

Dain Blackadar, 19, 10 Maple St., Byfield; assault and battery, domestic, 6 months' pretrial probation (Amesbury).

Bonnie Bencivenga, 51, 9 Beach Plain Road, Danville, N.H.; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued for one year, 45-day loss of license, Alcohol Safety Awareness Program, half-day Brains At Risk program, $50 to VWF, $250 to Head Injury Fund; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (Amesbury).

Sean York, 20, 105D South Main St., Kingston, N.H.; driving with suspended license, guilty, $500 fine, $50 to VWF; no inspection sticker, responsible, filed (Newburyport).

Samantha Rojas, 18, 8 Carriage Hill Road, A3, Amesbury; threaten to commit crime, six months' probation (Newbury).

Vicki Cormier, 38, 3 Barton Court, Newburyport; domestic assault and battery, continued for three months, $50 to VWF (Newburyport).

The following cases were heard on Thursday Oct. 29. Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived cases:

James J. Ferguson, 45, 4671 Overlook Drive, Williamsville, N.Y.; driving while under the influence of alcohol (fourth offense), guilty, 21âÑ2 years house of correction, five months to be served, balance suspended for probation, $1,000 fine, two years' loss of license, attend AA twice weekly, $50 to VWF (West Newbury).

Samantha Rojas, 18, 8 Carriage Hill Road, A3, Amesbury; annoying telephone calls, continued with six months' pretrial probation (Salisbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on Friday, Oct. 30. Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived cases:

Anthony Wainaina, 32, 550 Centre St., Jamaica Plain; driving while under the influence of alcohol, guilty, six months house of correction, 25 days to be served, deemed served, balance suspended for probation, one year loss of license, $250 to HIF, $50 to VWF (Newburyport).

Nancy B. Doyon, 49, 162 East Main St., P.O. Box 134, Hampstead, N.H.; shoplifting $100 by asportation, guilty, one year house of correction, suspended for three years, $284.26 restitution, $50 to VWF (Amesbury).

Raymond W. Prescott, 37, 51âÑ2 Ford St., Haverhill; driving with a suspended license, continued for nine months, $200 in court costs and $50 to VWF (Newbury).

Robert McParland, 18, 45 Topsfield Road, Ipswich; possession of liquor by person under age 21, continued, $50 to VWF; RMV safety standards not met, not responsible (State).

Robert V. Melideo, 20, 26 Nelson Ave., Georgetown; driving while under the influence of alcohol, one year's probation, ASAP, half-day Brains At Risk program,$50 to VWF, $250 to HIF; marked lanes violation, filed (Newbury).

Carrie P. Campbell, 40, 6 Tallowood Lane, Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued for one year, ASAP, 45-day loss of license, $250 to HIF, $50 to VWF; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (Amesbury).
