Police logs

NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Madison R. Maguire, 18, 78 Rogers St., West Newbury; and Manuel Escalante, 17, 60 Curzon Mill Road, Newburyport; were issued summonses Tuesday at 10:42 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery. Officer Keith Carter issued the summonses at Newburyport High School, High Street.

Francis R. Torres, 36, 144 Washington St., Peabody, was issued a summons Tuesday at 1:04 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Gregory Whitney issued the summons on Low Street.

Danny R. Lavalley, 38, 7 Barton St., Newburyport, was issued a summons Tuesday at 5:52 p.m. on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle, wrongfully attaching motor vehicle plates and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Matthew Simons issued the summons on Barton Road.

Steven Cornacchio, 31, 97 North Broadway, Haverhill; and Gregg W. Burrill, 30, 10 Aubin St., Amesbury, were issued summonses Tuesday at 8:49 p.m. by Inspector Michael Sugrue following an incident on Tremont Street. Cornacchio was charged with larceny from a building. Burrill was charged with receiving stolen property less than $250.

Benedictus Weah, 23, 69 Railroad Ave., Salisbury, was arrested Wednesday at 10:54 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant (disorderly conduct and defacing property). Officers Charles Eaton and Whitney made the arrest at Anna Jaques Hospital, Highland Avenue.

Keri Pennell, 23, 59 Longfellow Drive, Newburyport, was issued a summons Wednesday at 11 a.m. on charges of improper use of a credit card under $250, larceny of a credit card less than $250, forgery and uttering a false document. Officers John Gavin and Nora Duggin issued the summons on Pleasant Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Matthew W. Rowe Jr., 20, 19 Lena Mae Way, Salisbury, was arrested Tuesday at 12:56 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense). Officer Keith Forget made the arrest on Lafayette Road.

Daniel J. Bell, 31, 1 Annes Lane, Seabrook, was issued a summons Wednesday at 9:29 a.m. on five counts of receiving stolen property less than $250. Detective Steven Sforza issued the summons on Folly Mill Road.

SEABROOK

The following item was recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Jerry W. Dow, 44, 70 Washington St., Seabrook, was arrested Tuesday at 12:01 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated (subsequent offense) and driving after revocation or suspension. Officers Adam Laurent, Ryan Kane and Sgt. David Buccheri made the arrest on Walton Road.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Robert Sproule, 47, 10 Brookfield Lane, Saugus, was issued a summons Monday at 3:35 p.m. on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Trooper Katsarakes issued the summons in Newbury.

Lorenzo Cruz, 30, 185 Chestnut St., Lawrence, was issued a summons Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Trooper Provost issued the summons in Merrimac.
