Volunteers sought for cleanup day

NEWBURYPORT โ€” Volunteers are needed to help clean up Maudslay State Park and Sandy Point Reservation on Saturday as part of Park Serve day, a statewide volunteer program.

Volunteers will be at Maudslay from 9 a.m. to noon. Meet in the parking lot and wear durable clothing and boots. Gloves and tools will be provided, and snacks and water will be served. Volunteers will also receive a T-shirt.

The cleanup is co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Maudslay State Park Association.
