The following item was recorded in the Rowley police log:

Madison M. Sewards, 23, 16 Abell Avenue, Ipswich; was arrested on a warrant on Thursday at 1:41 p.m.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the West Newbury police log:

Barbara DuBois, 54, 260 Northern Blvd., Newburyport; was issued a summons on Thursday at 5:54 p.m. for driving without a license. Officer Barry Coker issued the summons during a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.

James Thornton, 41, 138 Central Avenue, Salisbury; was issued a summons on Friday for violating an abuse protection order. Officers Forni and Durand issued the summons.
