Library Friends in need of volunteers

The Friends of the Rowley Public Library is in critical need of volunteers to keep its organization alive and functioning.

The Friends are a group of volunteers committed to making the library the best possible cultural and educational resource for everyone in the community. The group does receive money from town taxes, but it is not enough to fund the many events and resources they provide, so they often hold fundraisers such as the annual Chili Cook-off and Spring Book Sale.

Those interested in volunteering to keep this community-focused organization active are invited to attend an open house to learn more on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the library, or contact Nancy Judge at 978-417-9009 or for details.
