Property valuations available next week

MERRIMAC — The Merrimac Board of Assessors has received preliminary certification of property values for the fiscal year 2013 from the state Department of Revenue.

Valuation tables were calculated by analysis of property sales from July 1, 2010 to July 30, 2012.

Merrimac property owners may view their pending valuation at the assessor’s office. Public disclosure of property values will be available beginning Monday, Oct. 15, through Friday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m.

Property owners can request that the assessors review their property values and view their properties at this time.

All assessments will be available for any taxpayer to view as they are public records. Owners may also call the assessor’s office at 978-346-9022.
