NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, April 24, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Gregory Muriak, 40, 40 Pearl St., Amesbury; domestic assault and battery, dismissed (Amesbury).

Daniel B. Souther, 51, homeless, Newburyport; trespass, guilty, 30 days in the house of correction, committed and deemed served; trespass, guilty, 30 days in the house of correction, committed and deemed served; trespass, guilty, 30 days in the house of correction, committed and deemed served (Newburyport).

Michael V. Berry, 53, 3 Juniper Road, Salem, N.H.; driving after license suspension, continued without finding and probation for six months, $50 Victim-Witness Fund, $300 court costs; uninsured vehicle, continued without finding and probation for six months; unregistered vehicle, responsible, filed (State Police).

Michael V. Berry, 53, 30 Plummer Ave., Newbury; driving after license suspension, continued without finding and probation for six months, $100 court costs, $50 VWF; fail to stop/yield, not responsible (Salisbury).

Laura Riley, 48, 1 Brown Ave., Apt. 80, Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 Operating Under Intoxication fee, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Fund, $250 Head Injury Fund; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (Amesbury).

Joshua M. Bibber, 19, 14 Hardin St., Wilmington; driving while under the influence of drugs, continued for one year; unregistered vehicle, responsible, filed; state highway violation, not responsible (Newbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Thursday, April 25, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Ulises Matos, 53, 357 Lowell St., first floor, Apt. 113, Lawrence; driving after license suspension, continued for nine months, $50 VWF (Newburyport).

David J. Hipsman, 19, 652 Essex Ave., Glouchester; negligent driving, continued without finding and probation for nine months, $50 VWF, $250 HIF; driving without an license, continued without finding and probation for nine months; fail to stop/yield, responsible, filed (Newburyport).
