NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Friday, April 26, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

William P. Fries, 33, 81 High St., Apt. 15, Amesbury; uninsured vehicle, dismissed; driving after registration suspension, dismissed (Amesbury).

Jacob L. Joseph, 67, 32 Park Circle, Newburyport; domestic assault and battery, continued or six months conditioned upon no abuse of the victim and attendance of anger management classes at the Veterans Administration in Haverhill (Newburyport).

Kandace Bickford, 27, 95 Lafayette Road, Salisbury; driving after license suspension, continued for three months, $50 VWF; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed; fail to wear seat belt, not responsbile (State Police).

Ian Z. Englestein, 19, 53 Curzon Mill Road, Newburyport; leaving the scene of property damage, dismissed (Newburyport).

Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived trials:

Peter Beebie, 21, 21 South Porter St., Bradford; possession of a class C substance, continued without finding for a year, no drugs with random screens, attend drug counseling with follow-ups, $50 VWF; possession of a class D substance, continued without finding for a year (West Newbury).

Kyle J. O’Rourke, 17, 4 Tallyshire Road, Groveland; possession of a class D substance, continued without funding for six months, $50 VWF; person under 21 in possession of alcohol, continued without finding for six months; speeding, not responsible (West Newbury).

David Cavanaugh, 25, 249 Washington St., No. 5, Haverhill; possession of a class B substance, continued without finding for six months, $50 VWF (West Newbury).

Joshua A. Babcock, 25, 2 Gravel Way, Salisbury; assault and battery, continued without finding for six months, $50 VWF; speeding, guilty, $100 fine (Salisbury).

Michele Amirault, 23, 28 North Atkinson St., Newburyport; fugitive from justice; dismissed (Newburyport).

Ginelle Thompson, 24, 129 Bedford St., Burlington; possession of a class B substance, continued without finding for a year, remain drug/alcohol free with random screens, $50 VWF; permitting unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, continued without finding for a year; no inspection sticker, responsible, filed (Amesbury).
