'YouTube man' gets jail time

SALISBURY — A Pike Street resident who proclaimed to police in January that he was “the YouTube man” will be spending the next four months behind bars after admitting he drunkenly threw dressers and other large items out of his home and onto the road as motorists passed by.

Ronald J. Allard, 45, pleaded guilty yesterday in Newburyport District Court to four counts of disorderly conduct and one disturbing the peace charge and was sentenced by Judge Peter Doyle to six months in jail, with 52 days deemed served, and a $50 fine.
