Port brothers charged in drug raid

(Continued)

At the same time Maguire was arrested in January, a heavily armed raid by local police and SWAT team members from the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council burst into the Whitehall Road apartment of what police called the leader of an elaborate heroin distribution ring with ties to both Salisbury and Lawrence.

Dana Abrahams, 24, of Amesbury was charged of possession of heroin to distribute, conspiracy to violate the controlled substance law, being present where heroin is kept, two counts of possession of a class B substance (methadone and Suboxone) and possession of fireworks. He is out on $2,500 cash bail but expected back in court June 25 for a discovery motion, according to the same Essex County District Attorney’s office spokesperson.

Hampton police are encouraging anyone with information on their case or tips in general to call the department at 603-929-4444. Anonymous tips can be made through the Crimeline for the Hamptons at 603-929-1222 or emailed to: hamptonscrimeline@yahoo.com.
