NRA to meet tonight

NEWBURYPORT — The Newburyport Redevelopment Authority will meet tonight at 7 in the auditorium of City Hall.

City officials had indicated that members of the Committee for an Open Waterfront would present their concept of what the central waterfront could look like.

But NRA officials say COW leaders were unable to attend the meeting.

NRA officials say that they are “setting aside a block of time on June 19” for a COW presentation, but they have not heard back from its leaders on whether that time will work.

Tonight’s NRA agenda does include the following: presentation of a bulkhead report, Custom House deed restrictions and “legal and regulatory items.”
