NEWBURYPORT: The following case was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 26, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trial:

Ross Lavoie, 17, 45 Paige Farm Road, Amesbury; reckless/negligent operation of a snow/recreation vehicle, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of the half-day Brains at Risk and State Court Against Road Rage programs, $50 Victim/Witness Fund (Amesbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Monday, Dec. 31, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Thomas R. Smith, 50, Railroad Avenue, Salisbury; receiving stolen property, guilty, 90-days in the house of correction, committed, $90 VWF (Amesbury).

Demian E. Arend, 42, 164 N. Pond Drive, Oakland, Maine; disorderly conduct, guilty, $100 fine and $50 VWF (Newburyport).

Michael Simensen, 26, 58 Cottage St., Apt. 3R, Lynn; uninsured vehicle, pretrial probation and the case continued generally for three months, $50 VWF; driving after registration suspension, pretrial probation and the case continued generally for three months (Newbury).

Sean K. Perry, 26, 24 Toll Road, Salisbury; reckless driving, guilty, 90 days in the house of correction, suspended with 17 months probation conditioned upon completion of the half-day Brains at Risk program, $200 fine, $50 surfine, $50 VWF; passing violation, responsible, $100 fine; speeding, responsible, $200 fine (Salisbury).

Christien J. Braccia, 20, 20 Old County Road, Amesbury; possession of alcohol by a person under the age of 21, Dec. 10 verdict of continued without finding was revoked due to a violation of the terms of probation and a guilty verdict instated, with a sentence of one year probation and $50 VWF; possession of alcohol by a person under the age of 21, guilty, 90-day loss of license, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Annmarie Habbestad, 56, 125 Main St., Apt. 312, Amesbury; vandalizing property, continued without finding and probation for 18 months conditioned upon remaining drug and alcohol free, staying away from the victim, attending two AA meetings a week and one mental health session per week, $200 court costs, $50 VWF; breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, continued without finding and probation for 18 months; threat to commit crime, continued without finding and probation for 18 months; assault with a dangerous weapon, dismissed (Amesbury).
