Coldwell grateful for ‘Pie in Sky’ support
The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Newburyport is thanking the community for participating in its annual “Pie in the Sky” fundraiser to benefit Community Servings.
Linda Knight, sales manager of the Newburyport office, especially singled out Absolut Hair Salon in addition to all those in the area who supported Pie in the Sky. She said many clients of Community Servings will receive free nutritious meals at their homes because of the generosity.
Together, CBRB raised approximately $50,000, contributing to the $560,000 that was generated by this year’s Pie in the Sky campaign for Community Servings.
Community Servings is Eastern Massachusetts’ only free, home-delivered meals program for families and individuals with HIV/AIDS and other acute life-threatening illnesses. The sales associates of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage encouraged neighbors throughout the community to purchase Thanksgiving pies that were prepared and donated by more than 150 of Greater Boston’s best restaurants and caterers. For every pie sold, Community Servings will be able to feed one client for five days.
