NEWBURYPORT — Mayor Donna Holaday will be accepting letters of interest and resumes from those who would like to be considered to serve on the Superintendent’s Search Committee, which will help identify a successor to Marc Kerble, current superintendent of schools who recently announced plans for retirement.

Correspondence can be directed to the following: Mayor’s Office, 60 Pleasant St., Newburyport, MA 01950 and should arrive by Feb. 1.

City officials would also like to hear from residents interested in serving on the Waterfront Trust, a volunteer board that supervises some community property and numerous functions on the riverfront.

Those who would like to be considered can send background information to the above address.
