Sessions to discuss town, school warrants next week

At the polls of March 12, voters will act on the Town Warrant, as well as warrants for Seabrook and Winnacunnet school districts. Next week, residents have the opportunities to attend three deliberative sessions when they can discuss and even amend the articles on the warrants.

On Monday, Seabrook School District will meet in Deliberative Session at 7 p.m. in the library of Seabrook Middle School.

Tuesday, Feb. 5, the town will hold its Deliberative session at 7 p.m. in the auditorium in the Community/Recreation Center.

Wednesday, Feb. 6, the Winnacunnet Cooperative School District meets for its Deliberative Session at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton.

Those wishing to vote at the session must be registered voters. Those who have not yet registered to vote may do so at the town clerk’s office at Seabrook Town Hall.

As well as being available at each session, the warrants are available online. Both school warrants can be accessed at Click on “2013 Deliberative Sessions,” then download the desired document.

The Town Warrant is posted on the town’s website, It is also posted at Town Hall, the public library, post office and Community Center.


On Feb. 9 from 4:30 to 6 p.m., the Rand Church Ladies Aid hosts its monthly bean supper at the church at 134 South Main St. The menu will consist of hot dogs, ham and beans, potato salad and coleslaw, along with homemade desserts including Indian pudding. The cost is $8 per adult and $4 per child.


Seacoast School of Technology will hold a new student and parent information night at its 40 Linden St., Exeter, campus on Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

SST provides career and technical education programs to students attending Winnacunnet High School. Students are eligible to choose from 12 different programs including Animal and Plant Science, Automotive Technologies, Biotechnology, Building Construction Technologies, Computer Programming, Culinary Arts, Digital Communications, Early Childhood Education, Health Science Technologies, Marketing Technologies, Pre-Engineering and Welding Technologies.
