Fashion Bus Stop opens in Amesbury

The Fashion Bus, North Shore’s original mobile boutique, has put its gear in park with the opening of its first retail location, The Fashion Bus Stop at 11 Friend St. in downtown Amesbury. Owned by Lisa McNulty, the Fashion Bus Stop carries clothing and accessories. Personal shopping services well as after-hours shopping parties. To celebrate the new location, a Valentine’s Day Shopping Event will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, from noon to 5 p.m. Shoppers will enjoy complimentary champagne and wine, cupcake and artisan chocolate samplings, raffles and discounts. Loretta Restaurant celebrating anniversary

Loretta Restaurant at 27 State St. in downtown Newburyport is marking its third anniversary today with a celebration to thank the local community. New and old customers are invited to stop by from 5:30 to 9 p.m. for complimentary appetizers and samples of items from its new menu.

Cooper Coach

rolls into region

Jane Rascal has launched Cooper Coach, a new passenger and delivery service in Amesbury and surrounding communities. Rascal aims to provide professional, dependable and courteous transportation in a new Mini Cooper station wagon with sunroof and leather seats.

Tagged with the license plate FAB CAB, Cooper Coach is not actually a taxi but a car service, requiring rides to be booked in advance. A flat rate is quoted before each job based on a fee of $1 a mile.

Rascal specializes in what she calls Trips to Town, Wait & Return, bringing North Shore residents into Boston for any event and then home again. Locally, Cooper Coach provides rides for seniors and will be delivering Ovedia chocolates for Valentine’s Day. The service seeks to accommodate any new transportation or delivery request.
