Hampton toll lanes closing for maintenance

HAMPTON, N.H. — The Hampton toll plaza on Interstate 95 will close its north- and southbound open road tolling lanes for five hours beginning tonight.

According to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, the lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. tomorrow to allow for routine maintenance on the overhead equipment.

Signs and traffic cones will be in place to guide motorists to non-open road tolling lanes at the plaza, where they will proceed through either dedicated E-ZPass or cash lanes, officials said.
