Arts fund created for Groveland woman

Family seeks to honor performer's passion

(Continued)

Following graduation, Kastrinelis attended the University of Hartford and went on to pursue her dream of a career in musical theater. She has been working as a performer for the Regent Cruise line since 2011. She also recently worked at Coach’s Rock Pond Pub in Georgetown.

The Kastrinelis family is a strong supporter of the nonprofit Pentucket Arts Foundation and its mission to enhance arts education and programming throughout the three communities of the Pentucket School District.

Jackie Kastrinelis herself attended and participated in foundation events when her schedule allowed, including seeing a summer stock production of “Godspell” and turning out for the annual Alum Night benefit for the arts each January.

Grunzweig said the family feels supporting the arts foundation through the memorial fund is a meaningful way to honor Jackie Kastrinelis’ passion for the arts and her love for the small-town community that meant so much to her.
