Program on organic landscaping slated for March 25

GEORGETOWN — The Country Gardeners Georgetown’s own Lillabeth Wies will present a program on Edible Food Forest Landscaping, providing a bountiful organic harvest and creating an outdoor oasis that offers opportunity for tranquility, harmony, recreation and relaxation. This garden/living style can grow on a neighborhood level as backyard gardeners share their bounty, to build a self-sufficient community.

Wies will include lots to enjoy, including design principles, using specific ecologies, planning for growth, maturation, and renewal and plants.

The event will be held March 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Peabody Library in Georgetown.

For more information about this event or about joining Country Gardeners Georgetown, call president Bonnie Stecher, 978-352-2958.
