Newbury library to resume fall hours

NEWBURY —The Newbury Town Library will resume Saturday hours beginning Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 18, the Friends of the Newbury Town Library will hold their second annual Tag Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to rent a space for a $10 donation, and help support the Friends of the Library.

Clean out your basement, garage and closets and bring unwanted items to sell. Space rental forms are available at the library circulation desk.

The Friends will hold their first meeting of the season on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the library's Meeting Room.

Current members and those interested in learning more about the Friends are encouraged to attend. Members welcome fresh ideas with open arms. Future meetings after September will take place on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

For more information about fall programming, library hours and the Friends, please call 978-465-0539 or visit the library's website at www.newburylibrary.org.
