Summer Sailing Classes for Children

The American Yacht Club will be hosting the Newburyport Summer Sailing Program for children age 10 to 18. Instruction is for beginner to advanced levels and for children ages 10 to 18. The two-week session for beginner and intermediate levels are: Session One; June 30 to July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.; Session Two; July 14 to July 25, from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.; Session Three; July 28 to Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.; Session Four; Aug. 11 to Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to noon. Advanced Racing; Aug. 11 to Aug. 22, 1 to 4 p.m. Fees are $270 for nonmembers and $230 for AYC members. For more information and applications, contact Sue at 603-474-9644.

Class of 1948 reunion meeting

The class of 1948 will hold a reunion meeting to discuss their 60th reunion, Monday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m., at Chase St., Newburyport. All interested classmates are invited. For more information, call 978-465-0777.
