NEWBURYPORT

The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

r Richard Scogland, 35, 5 Market Square, Newburyport, was arrested yesterday at 12:29 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, failing to signal and a marked lanes violation. Officers Kevin Martin and William Steeves made the arrest in Market Square.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

r Tony Souther, 54, 65 Railroad Ave., Seabrook, was arrested Wednesday at 6:22 p.m. on a warrant. Officer Michael Purvis made the arrest on Macy Street.

r Dana Walton, 21, 24 Senee Court, Amesbury, was issued a summons Wednesday at 7:12 p.m. on charges of driving without registration, driving without insurance and a license plate violation. Officer Thomas Nichols issued the summons on Elm Street.

r Ronald Braese, 50, 2 Adams Court, Amesbury, was arrested Wednesday at 11:20 p.m. on a warrant. Officer Denis Champagne Jr. made the arrest on Adams Court.

r Abby Chatterton, 26, 122 Main St., Georgetown, was issued a summons yesterday at 9:11 a.m. on charges of driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Glenn Chaput issued the summons on Macy Street.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

r Daniel Desjardins, 49, 9 Fasulo Court, Haverhill, was arrested yesterday at 4:22 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (third offense), driving without a license, reckless driving and a marked lanes violation. Officer Bruce Dow made the arrest on Elm Street.

GROVELAND

The following item was recorded in the Groveland police log:

r Joseph Greeley, 30, 19 Washington St., Haverhill, was issued a summons yesterday at 11:30 a.m. on charges of driving without a license and an equipment violation. Officer Christopher Sargent issued the summons on School Street.

NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the Newbury police log:

r Jason Mowen, 21, 41 South St., Rockport, was arrested yesterday at 8:19 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident. Officer Stephen May Jr. made the arrest on High Road.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the state police log, Newbury barracks:

r Grant Guilbeault, 44, 18 Easton Hill Lane, Stratham, N.H., was issued a summons Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. for driving without a license. Trooper Kevin O'Neill issued the summons in Newbury.

r Marcus Ferreira, 32, 15 Weld St., Framingham, was arrested Wednesday and charged with driving without a license and speeding. Lt. Walter Keenan made the arrest in Boxford.
