NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on Friday, May 2.

Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived cases:

Sarah Boisclair, 22, 962 Granby Road, Chicopee, driving without insurance, dismissed with payment of $100 in court costs and $50 to the Victim-Witness Fund; driving with suspended registration, dismissed with payment of $100 in court costs; driving without registration, responsible (state police).

David J. Salvacion, 51, 95 Drakesire Road, Apt. 1, Hampton, N.H.; driving with a suspended license, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF; speeding, responsible, $100 assessment (West Newbury).

Danielle J. Quinn, 21, 18 Dartmouth Way, Newbury; driving with a suspended license, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF (Newburyport).

Danielle J. Quinn, 21, 18 Dartmouth Way, Newbury; driving without insurance, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF; driving with suspended registration, dismissed with $100 in court costs (Newburyport).

Mark Morin, 26, 21 Independent St., Newburyport; driving without insurance, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF; driving with suspended registration, dismissed with $100 in court costs (Newburyport).

Maristela Dias, 45, 123 Washington St., first floor, Peabody; driving without a license, dismissed with $100 in court costs, $50 to VWF (Newburyport).

Derek E. Brusin, 23, 6 Bromfield Court, Newburyport; driving with a suspended license, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF; no inspection sticker, responsible (Newburyport).

Gary R. Bolduc, 48, 19 Prospect St., West Newbury; driving without a license, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF; license not in possession, not responsible (West Newbury).

Michael S. Hayward, 34, 229 Beach Road, Salisbury; driving under the influence of alcohol, continued for one year with supervised probation, 45-day loss of license, attend alcohol safety awareness program, $250 to Head Injury Fund, $50 to VWF; equipment violation, responsible (Amesbury).

Robert Guzowski, 66, 44 New Zealand Road, Apt. 44, Seabrook, N.H.; receiving stolen property, guilty, pay $7,600 in restitution, $90 to VWF, two years' probation, no gambling, attend Gamblers Anonymous, substance abuse evaluation and treatment if necessary; larceny over $250, dismissed at request of state (Salisbury).

John K. Walton, 35, 22 Perkins St., Apt. 4, Amesbury; driving with a suspended license, subsequent offense, continued for one year with supervised probation, $50 to VWF; possession of a class D substance, continued for one year with supervised probation, remain drug and alcohol free, submit to random screens (Amesbury).

William D. Botelho, 58, 72 S. Sixth St., New Bedford; driving under the influence of alcohol, third offense, guilty, 18 months in the house of correction, committed, credit 135 days served, eight-year loss of license, $1,000 fine, $250 to the Head Injury Fund (state).

Judge Allen Swan presided over the following jury-waived case:

Tyler McAniff, 22, 6 Louise St., Newburyport; assault and battery, continued for one year, $565 restitution, stay away from victim, $200 in court costs, $50 to VWF (Amesbury).
