Police Logs

NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

r Brandon Cohen, 19, of 1 Horton St., Newburyport, was arrested Wednesday at 8:10 a.m. on a warrant. Officers Keith Carter and Shawn Eaton made the arrest on Horton Street.

r David Climo, 41, of 12 Woodman Way, Newburyport, was arrested yesterday at 3:04 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Officers Kevin Martin, Dani Michalek, Matthew Simons and William Steeves made the arrest on Woodman Way.

r George Olsen, 47, of 3 Hope Ave., Newburyport, was issued a summons yesterday at 10:54 a.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Joshua Tierney issued the summons on Broad Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

r Alex Payne, 18, of 11 Oak Ave., Hudson, N.H., and Nicole Trebby, 17, of 9A Shelley Drive, Hudson, N.H., were arrested Tuesday at 11:38 p.m. and charged with underage possession of alcohol and possession of a class D substance. Payne was also charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, a marked lanes violation and resisting arrest. Officer David Noyes made the arrest on Macy Street.

r George McPhee, 27, of 65 Water St., North Andover, was arrested Wednesday at 12:29 a.m. on a warrant. Sgt. Jeffrey Worthen made the arrest on Macy Street.

r Michelle Harkins, 47, of 27 Plum Island Blvd., Newbury, was arrested Wednesday at 9:46 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs, possession of a class D substance, driving without an inspection sticker and a marked lanes violation. Noyes made the arrest on Main Street.

r Joseph King, 30, of 5 Snug Harbor Court, Quincy, was issued a summons Wednesday at 11:17 p.m. for driving without a license. Officer Steven Reed issued the summons on Macy Street.

r A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested Wednesday at 11:33 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. Noyes made the arrest at the Harbor Schools.

r Julie Cook-Murtagh, 36, of 408 Route 125, Brentwood, N.H., was arrested yesterday at 4:18 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs. Officer Robert Chatigny made the arrest on Macy Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

r Alex Payne, 18, of 11 Oak St., Hudson, N.H., was issued a summons Tuesday at 11:32 p.m. for domestic assault and battery. Officer Bruce Dow issued the summons on Beach Road.

r Kevin Herdrich, 55, of 21 Burley St., Danvers, was arrested Wednesday at 9:27 a.m. and charged with driving without a license and a warrant. Sgt. Eugene Scione and officer Michael Alder made the arrest on Merrill Street.

r Police placed one person into protective custody yesterday.

ROWLEY

The following item was recorded in the Rowley police log:

r James Pottie, 36, of 16 Jericho Drive, Kingston, N.H., was issued a summons Tuesday at 1:06 p.m. for reckless driving and failing to stop for a stop sign. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

r Barrie Glidden, 25, of 59 Scabble Road, Brentwood, N.H., was arrested Tuesday at 2:54 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and conduct after an accident. Officer Frank Brown made the arrest on Ocean Boulevard.

r David Doyle, 47, of 301 Portsmouth Ave., Seabrook, was arrested Wednesday at 7 p.m. and charged with simple assault. Officer Jeremy Tetreault made the arrest on Portsmouth Avenue.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the state police log, Newbury barracks:

r Flor Hernandez, 24, of 57 Broadland Park, Chestnut Hill, was issued a summons Wednesday at 1:35 a.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Trooper Steven Gondella issued the summons in Salisbury.

r Jeffrey Cambria, 46, no address given, was arrested Wednesday at 11:20 a.m. and charged with possession of a class E substance, driving with an open container of alcohol, driving without a license, driving without registration and a license plate violation. Trooper Shane Pierce made the arrest in Haverhill.

r Beau Leighton, 28, of 77B Wood Road, Barrington, N.H., was issued a summons Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for driving without a license in possession, driving without registration, driving with an unregistered trailer and a license plate violation. Trooper Kevin O'Neil issued the summons in Haverhill.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the West Newbury police log:

r David Brusso, 25, of 22 Jewell St., South Hampton, was issued a summons Monday at 5:29 p.m. for driving without a license and driving without registration. Officer Barry Coker issued the summons on Main Street.

COAST GUARD

The following item was recorded in the Coast Guard log:

r Two men were rescued on Plum Island on Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m. after their 18-foot boat ran out of gas. The men were discovered about a mile and a half north of the southern access road, near parking lot 4, and taken to Anna Jaques Hospital.
