Elder menus

Merrimack Valley Elderly Nutrition Program lunches are served in Amesbury, Georgetown, Groveland, Newburyport, Merrimac, Salisbury, and West Newbury.

Menus are for Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 1.

Monday — Fruit punch, potato crunch fish, rice with peas and mushrooms, brussels sprouts, chocolate pudding, diet pudding, multigrain bread.

Tuesday — Apple juice, hamburger, ketchup, mixed vegetables, potato chips, fruited gelatin, diet gelatin, hamburger roll.

Wednesday — Baked ham, fruit sauce, whipped sweet potatoes, Italian blend vegetables, chilled pineapple, whole wheat bread.

Thursday — Barbecue chicken leg, kernel corn, hot potato salad, watermelon, banana, whole wheat bread.

Friday — Cottage cheese fruit plate, chilled pineapple, tossed salad, dressing, fruit smoothie, diet yogurt, low fat muffin.

Note: Milk and margarine offered with each meal. Menu subject to change
