Police logs

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Reid M. Walsh, 39, 17 Western Ave., Essex, was issued a summons Thursday at 9:32 p.m. on a charge of driving a vehicle with a forged inspection sticker. Officer Michael Purvis issued the summons at Elm Street and Rocky Hill Road.

Jacklyn Maffucci, 20, of 20 Main St., Atkinson, N.H., was issued a summons at 12:33 a.m. yesterday on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. Purvis and officer David Noyes issued the summons on Macy Street.

Brian Michael Bonnette, 25, 12 Vine St., Amesbury, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, second offense, and speeding. Bonnette was arrested on Glenwood Street by Noyes and officer Matthew Cunningham.

NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the Newbury police log:

Ashley D. Barlow, 17, 14 Larkin Road, Byfield was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Thursday and charged with two counts of domestic assault and battery. Officer Joseph Anderson made the arrest at 14 Larkin Road.

MERRIMAC

The following item was recorded in the Merrimac police log:

No injuries were reported when a wooden utility pole fell on a car in the parking lot at Skip's Snack Bar, 93 East Main St., at 5:31 yesterday afternoon. Sgt. Eric Shears said a truck backed into the pole and left the scene. He said the identity of the driver of the truck is under investigation. The pole collapsed the rear part of the roof of the Buick Century, but two occupants in the front seat were not injured, Shears said. When the pole fell, it pulled down an attached electrical line across the parking lot and resting on several other cars.
