Marching Band raffling off quilt

The Pentucket Regional High School Marching Band is raffling off a handmade quilt to raise money for new uniforms. The queen-sized quilt, titled Autumnal Love, is made from 100 percent cotton fabrics — all from the Red Barn in Merrimac. It is machine-washable and dryable. Tickets, $1 each or six for $5, will be on sale at the remaining home football games, during parent-teacher conferences on Nov. 4 and 6, at the Thanksgiving Day football game, at the Merrimac Santa Parade and at the Pentucket Fine and Performing Arts Foundation's Friday Family Flick movie night Dec. 5. The winning ticket will be pulled at the band concert on Monday, Dec. 15. For more information, contact Roberta Homan, 978-346-9448.
