NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Howard Carroll, 41, 97 Kings Highway, Hampton, N.H., was arrested yesterday at 1 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and speeding. Sgt. Stephen Chaisson and officers Kevin Martin and John Schmidt made the arrest on High Street.

Elias Soto, 18, 55 Crawford St., Lowell, was issued a summons yesterday at 11:40 a.m. for making criminal threats. Officers Jason Kohan, Richard Rocco and Robert Vatcher issued the summons on Pleasant Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Michael Haas, 20, 152A Lowell Road, Hudson, N.H., was arrested Friday at 8:48 p.m. on a warrant. Officer Thomas Nichols made the arrest on Rocky Hill Road.

Dennis Moody, 42, 109 Pine Grove, Lynn, was issued a summons Saturday at 1:48 a.m. for driving without a license, driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Nichols issued the summons on Market Street.

Keith Wilson, 38, 57 Beach Road, Salisbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:37 p.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Raymond Landry issued the summons on I-495.

John Rescigno, 25, 13 Powderhouse Court, Amesbury, was arrested yesterday at 3:06 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Sgt. William Scholtz made the arrest on Powderhouse Court.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Stephen Nichols Jr., 48, 32 Ashworth Ave., Hampton, N.H., was issued a summons Friday at 5:21 p.m. for breaking and entering into a car and larceny. The summons was issued on Elm Street.

Philip Latraverse, 47, 96 Ashworth Ave., Hampton, N.H., was issued a summons Saturday at 12:42 a.m. for driving without a license and a lights violation. Officer Timothy Hunter issued the summons on Beach Road.

A 16-year-old juvenile was issued a summons Saturday at 9:13 a.m. for assault and battery. Sgt. Mark Thomas issued the summons on Gardner Street.

Taylor Ditomaso, 21, 4 Hillside Ave., Merrimac, was issued a summons Saturday at 8:32 p.m. for wanton destruction of property. The summons was issued on North End Boulevard.

A 16-year-old juvenile was issued a summons yesterday at 6:55 a.m. for malicious destruction of property. Sgt. Eugene Scione and officer Hunter issued the summons on True Road.

MERRIMAC

The following items were recorded in the Merrimac police log:

Paul Cahill, 53, 29 Harriman Road, Merrimac, was arrested Friday at 9:15 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and disturbing the peace. Sgt. Eric Shears and officer David Vance made the arrest on Harriman Road.

Robin Lulsdorf, 48, 32 Birchmeadow Road, Merrimac, was arrested Friday at 11:49 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Officers Jonathan Morrill and Charles Sciacca made the arrest on Birchmeadow Road.

GEORGETOWN

The following items were recorded in the Georgetown police log:

Roy Canning, 51, 17 North Ave., Haverhill, was arrested yesterday at 1:06 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, speeding and an equipment violation. Officer Garrett Barber made the arrest on East Main Street.

James Bachand, 44, 2 Silvermine Lane, Georgetown, was arrested yesterday at 12:15 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officer Jay Martel made the arrest on Silvermine Lane.

GROVELAND

The following items were recorded in the Groveland police log:

Teresa O'Connell, 55, 31 Beach Road, Gloucester, was issued a summons Saturday at 4:30 p.m. for driving without a license, driving without registration in possession, driving without insurance, driving without an inspection sticker and an equipment violation. Officer Garrett Greer issued the summons on School Street.

Sara Cooper, 31, 140 Presidential Drive, Haverhill, was issued a summons Saturday at 6:15 p.m. for driving without a license and speeding. Officer Daniel Ramirez issued the summons on Uptack Road.

Edison Ramos-Berry, 24, 22 York St., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 9 p.m. on a warrant. Officers Greer and Ramirez made the arrest on Salem Street.

NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the Newbury police log:

Donald Ciampa, 54, 3 Seaview Lane, Newbury, was arrested Friday at 7:21 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and an equipment violation. Sgt. Patty Fisher and officer Joseph Anderson made the arrest on Green Street.

Bernard Rogers, 26, 29 Central St., Byfield, was arrested yesterday at 1:28 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, improper storage of a firearm, unlicensed possession of a firearm and unlicensed possession of ammunition. Sgt. Lawrence Kent and officer Stephen Smith made the arrest on Central Street.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Donavan Bennett, 28, 26 Folly Mill Road, Seabrook, was arrested Friday at 10:13 a.m. and charged with driving without a license and a warrant. Officer Jeremy Tetreault made the arrest on Lafayette Road.

Colin Ross, 17, 58 Dows Lane, Seabrook; Magnus Hess, 18, 80 Washington St., Seabrook; and Christopher Small, 18, 44 New Zealand Road, Seabrook, were arrested Friday at 8:44 p.m. and charged with underage possession of alcohol. Officer Michael Cawley made the arrest on Meredith Drive.

Anthony Calabrese, 56, 944 Lafayette Road, Seabrook, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:14 a.m. for issuing bad checks. Officer Tetreault issued the summons on A Street.

Eric Freeman, 34, 23 Emerys Bridge Road, South Berwick, Maine, was arrested yesterday at 12:45 a.m. and charged with vandalism and resisting arrest. Officer Adam Laurent made the arrest on Walton Road.

Jonathan Ratcliffe, 21, 9 Old Salt Drive, Seabrook, was arrested yesterday at 2:27 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, and Logan Daigle, 20, 109 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. Officer Frank Brown Jr. made the arrests on Farm Lane.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the state police log, Newbury barracks:

Luis Teixeira, 54, 14 Proust St., Quincy, was issued a summons Saturday at 12:40 a.m. for driving without a license and a marked lanes violation. Trooper Smolinsky issued the summons in Boxford.

Christopher Demato, 24, 61 Cedar St., Haverhill, was issued a summons Saturday at 1:40 a.m. for driving without a license and an equipment violation. Trooper Thomas Loughran issued the summons in Haverhill.

Michael Chavez, 19, 8 Fay Place, Haverhill, was issued a summons Saturday at 2:55 a.m. for driving without a license and an equipment violation. Trooper Loughran issued the summons in Haverhill.

Saul Derlera, 38, 141 Mendon St., Boston, was arrested Saturday at 3:20 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and a marked lanes violation. Trooper Barry Nangle made the arrest in Newburyport.

Emil Serimet III, 24, 35 Stillwater Road, Methuen, was arrested yesterday at 3:05 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), driving with an open container, driving without registration in possession and speeding. Trooper Smolinsky made the arrest in Haverhill.

Ryan Johnston, 20, 11 Chester St., Amesbury, was issued a summons yesterday at 3:45 a.m. for underage possession of alcohol. Trooper Thomas Canning issued the summons in Newburyport.
