NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on Thursday, Nov. 13. Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived trials:

Raymond D. Tarr Jr., 48, 19 Green Point Road, Ipswich; driving while under the influence of alcohol, second offense, guilty, one year house of correction, suspended for two years probation, two-year loss of license, Alcohol Safety Awareness Program, $250 to Head Injury Fund, $50 to Victim-Witness Fund (VWF), submit to screens; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (State).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived trials:

Caleb Romero, 33 Hosmer St., Everett; driving without a license, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF; no inspection sticker, responsible, $50 to VWF; equipment violation, not responsible (Newbury).

Kathleen Cronin, 45, 8 Prospect St., West Newbury; unregistered motor vehicle, dismissed with $100 in court costs and $50 to VWF: driving with a suspended registration, dismissed with $100 in court costs (Newburyport).

Corey Magnuson, 19, 141 Beach Road, Apt. D 12, Salisbury; unregistered motor vehicle, dismissed with $100 in court costs, $50 to VWF: driving with suspended registration, dismissed with $100 in court costs (Newburyport).

Norman W. Johnson Jr., 38, 111 Hildreth St., Lowell; possession of a class D substance, guilty, $100 fine, $50 to VWF (State).

Eric M. Brown, 21, 14 Fruit Place, Amesbury; possession of a class D substance, $200 in costs, $50 to VWF (Amesbury).

Danielle K. Cartier, 20, 21 Haverhill Road, Amesbury; possession of a class D substance, continued for one year, $200 in costs, $50 to VWF (Amesbury).

El-Hassain Hussein, 22, 2 Blaisdell St., 3rd floor, Haverhill; driving with a suspended license, continued for one year, $100 in court costs, $50 to VWF; no inspection sticker, responsible, filed (West Newbury).

Daniel Vozza, 37, 38 Dexter Ave., 1, Watertown; driving while under the influence of alcohol (fourth offense), guilty, two years house of correction, one year to be served, balance suspended for two years probation, 79 days credit, 10-year loss of license, evaluation and aftercare; possession of unlawful fireworks, guilty, filed; failure to signal, responsible, filed; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed; negligent driving, guilty, $250 to Head Injury Fund; speeding, responsible, filed (State).

John C. Jancewicz, 51, 31 Clarks Road, Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, six months house of correction, suspended for two years probation, 14-day in-patient program with aftercare, two-year loss of license, $250 to the Head Injury Fund, $50 to the VWF (Amesbury).

Samuel H. Johnson, 54, 26 Dock Lane, Salisbury; driving with suspended registration, dismissed with $100 in court costs, $50 to VWF: driving without insurance, dismissed with $200 in court costs (Amesbury).
