'Twelve Days of Christmas' at Firehouse

NEWBURYPORT — The Firehouse Center and Exit Dance Theatre are presenting "The Twelve Days of Christmas."

Like their previous collaboration, "The Nutbuster," "Twelve Days" promises to be fun, engaging and entertaining for the whole family. Featuring Exit, Joppa Jazz, and guest performers, each dance will elaborate the themes of each of the 12 days. Imagine very French Hens; Calling Birds who give new meaning to inappropriate cell phone use; and Maids-a-milking that find their task quite a comical challenge. Styles vary from classical to hip-hop to jazz.

This is a performance for the entire family. The show runs from Friday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 7. Both Friday and Saturday evening shows will be at 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinees will be at 3 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults, $15 for seniors/members and $12 students. For more information regarding this performance, or to order tickets, call the Firehouse Box Office at 978-462-7336 or visit online at www.firehouse.org.
