EBS announces anniversary

Emmith Business Solutions is celebrating the completion of its sixth year in business this December. The business was launched in December 2002 by Mark W. Emmith to provide a wide array of support services utilizing Intuit accounting and tax preparation software.

The firm provides expert QuickBooks Support Services as well as Tax Return Preparation and Business Consultation Services. EBS' support staff consists of two Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors, two MBAs and one CPA.

Two company veterans receive promotions at Ferraz Shawmut

Ferraz Shawmut, a global leader in the field of circuit protection, recently announced the promotion of Dean Cousins to senior vice president of marketing and business development, and Jim Kosciolek to vice president of sales.

Cousins, a 25-year veteran of Ferraz Shawmut, will oversee Ferraz Shawmut's marketing activities with a focus on long-range strategy, external growth, and market development planning and execution. Formerly, Cousins has held the positions of vice president of OEM sales and vice president of business development.

Kosciolek will manage Ferraz Shawmut's sales operation within the United States and Mexico. A 16-year veteran of the company, Kosciolek has held various sales positions at both the regional and national levels, most recently serving as the vice president of distribution sales. Prior to joining Ferraz Shawmut, he worked at Pass & Seymour/Legrand for six years.

National IT company selects ivan, paul

Ivan, paul, an Amesbury-based marketing communications agency, was recently tapped by Solution IT, Inc. to market and brand their business. Headquartered in Woburn, Mass., Solution IT is a full-service Information Technology consulting firm specializing in Oracle and SAP solutions that help get the most from their ERP systems.

Rose Displays, Ltd. enhances customer support program

Rose Displays, Ltd., a leading provider of signware solutions to retailers worldwide, announces two personnel moves designed to enhance its customer service and support offering. Nancy L. Keen of Lynn has been promoted to the newly created position of project manager. In addition, Jacqueline M. Fitzpatrick of Merrimac has joined the company as its new customer service manager.

As customer service manager, Jacqueline Fitzpatrick will provide proactive, post-sale leadership to the company's Customer Service Team and oversight of projects for the company's key and midsized accounts. She brings to Rose Displays 15 years' experience in customer management, including managerial positions for such national and regional telecommunications providers as Verizon Wireless, Veroxity Technology Partners, XO Communications and PDI.

As project manager, Nancy Keen will organize the internal processing and handling of large or complex orders for key accounts and provide oversight of these jobs from start to finish. Keen joined Rose Displays in 1998 as a customer service representative and has since held positions with increasing levels of responsibility within the company's customer support organization. For the past five years, she has served as customer service manager for the firm's growing worldwide account base.
