Merrimac Building Permits

MERRIMAC — The following is a list of building permit recipients, contractors when applicable, property address, a job description and permit fees for April. The town does not record estimated construction value. Permit fees are calculated by the square foot and the location of the planned construction.

Cindia Sanford, John Amero, 2 Summer St., proceed with installation of one exterior door (replacement, non-structural), $10.

Kathy Nickerson, George Hurley, 37 Attitash Ave., proceed with installation of vinyl siding on dwelling, $50.

Constance Haberkern, Gary Bridgewater, 1 Forest St., proceed with remodel to kitchen and laundry/bath on first floor of dwelling; install nine replacement windows, etc., $230.

Ed and Andrea Barry, Thomas Pariseau, 32 Church St., proceed with installation of 15 replacement windows in dwelling; installation of two replacement sliding doors, etc., $170.

Harry A. Daniels, 63 Locust St., apply new shingles to roof dwelling, $50.

Richard Ahern, 103 Hadley Road, proceed with removal of pre-cast entry stairs at front of dwelling; replace with 6-by-16-foot deck, etc., $25.

Gerald and Sherrie Buzzell, 2 Sawyer St., proceed with reconstruction of detached garage, 20-by-26-foot with second-level storage, per approved submittal plans, etc., $228.

James David, Robert Sinibaldi, 20 Pine St., proceed with addition to detached garage, extending 12 feet off end of existing gable end, per submittal plan, $50.

Lee Pittman, John Stewart, 51 West Main St., proceed with specific miscellaneous repairs to dwelling; re-roof over kitchen, remove one window, infill frame and, etc., $45.

Edward Hart, Richard Keyes, 67 West Shore Road, proceed with installation of five replacement windows in dwelling (non-structural), $50.

Nancy A. Baker, 23 Lisa Circle, proceed with 5-by-10-foot extension to existing entry enclosure with Dura-Lock roof and rail, etc., $30.

Lee Atkins, Marc Couture, 4 Bancroft Lane, proceed with conversion of porch per submittal documents, including nine kneewall windows and one door, $160.

Dennis Gauthier, Willis G. Buxton III, 17 Sharon Circle, proceed with construction of 9-by-20-foot freestanding deck at entry of dwelling with steps to grade, etc., $41.

Kelly Nickerson, George Hurley, proceed with removal of deck off rear of dwelling, reconstruct deck in same footprint per submittal plan, $33.

Steven Sardella/A. Mooradian, Steve J. Eddy, 16 Birchmeadow Road, proceed with renovations and addition to one-family dwelling per submittal documents, $687.

Howard Grant, Michael Theriault, 96 River Road, proceed with specified structural repairs in basement of dwelling per submittal documents, $100.

George Wallace, James Stepanian, 2 Pine St., proceed with construction of addition and renovations to portion of dwelling, per submittal specs, etc., $421.

Ron Fredette, Roger Harriman, 1 Sharon Circle, proceed with installation of new roof shingles on dwelling. (Note: work was started before this permit was issued), $50.

Nancy Bachelder, Willis G. Buxton III, 37 School St., proceed with minor specified repairs to dwelling, including new roof covering at front porch and selected areas of siding replacement, $25.
