Midnight swim nets arrests at Cedardale

GROVELAND — When police responded to noise complaints at Cedardale Groveland Outing Center early yesterday morning, they found a pool party in progress.

Police arrested 15 young people, three of them juveniles, at 12:56 a.m. after finding all in the Cedardale swimming pool.

"We got a call that there was noise, maybe trespassing," Deputy Chief Jeff Gillen said. "They hid their cars in different areas not near Cedardale and walked through the woods.

Gillen said the group managed to get into the locked pool area by hopping a fence. When police arrived, all were in the swimming pool, Gillen said.

Arrested and charged with trespassing were: Anthony Emillio Cruz, 22, 75 Pillings St., Haverhill; Stallone T, Mujuru, 17, 170 Washington St., Haverhill; Clifford M. Jones, 20, 52 Hancock St., Haverhill; Joshua Joel Maisonett-Lopez, 18, 42 North St., Haverhill; Antonio Judas Moreno, 18, 128 River St., Haverhill; Spencer P. Hernandez-Beltre, 18, 84 Broadway St., Haverhill; Alivin Bonilla, 19, 82 Temple St., Haverhill; Michael Patrick Pike, 21, 16 Curtis St., Methuen; Luis A. Rozon, 19, and Edwin Rozon, 18, both of 17 Dover St., Haverhill; Jacqueline Maria Martini, 18, 199 Colby St., Haverhill, Justin Girard Cook, 18, 1 Water St., Haverhill.

The group was arraigned yesterday morning in Haverhill District Court. Gillen said some would be put in a diversion program.
