Superintendent cruising into new position

AMESBURY — New Superintendent Michelle Robinson will be taking to the seas for the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Foundation's Boat Cruise tomorrow.

Robinson, who has relocated to Amesbury from Nevada, will be joined by members of the School Committee.

Phat Cats Bistro in Amesbury is catering the event. The menu will include grilled ribs, grilled pizza, shrimp and andoullie skewers, seafood salad sandwiches, sushi, tomato salad, Phat Cat Caesar salad and dessert. Skip Parks and Triple Play will perform. A door prize raffle is also planned and a cash bar will be available.

Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the cruise will sail out of the dock at 10 82nd St. in Newburyport at 6 p.m.

Reservations are required in order to ensure adequate seating and dinner. Cost, which includes dinner and music, is $25 for chamber members, family and friends, $35 for nonmembers. Call 978-388-3178 for information or to make reservation.
