NEWBURYPORT

The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Paula D. Furlanetto, 35, 12 Woodman Way, No. 3, Newburyport, was issued a summons Monday at 2:29 p.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and fail to stop/yield. Officer Gregory Whitney issued the summons on Woodman Way.

GROVELAND

The following item was recorded in the Groveland police log:

Vitaya Lattanasack, 31, 88 Hawthorn St., Lowell, was arrested Monday at 1 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Detective James Morton made the arrest on Elm Park.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Luis R. Ruiz, 30, 188 Walnut St., Waterbury, Conn., was issued a summons Monday at 2:15 p.m. on charges of speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and fail to drive in right lane. Trooper Downs issued the summons in Newbury.

Joseph M. Lentino, 76, 36 Roberts Road, Medford, was issued a summons Monday at 2:21 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Trooper Provost issued the summons in Newbury.

Dennis Chaney, 26, 33 Belknap Road, Dover, N.H., and John J. Sandowski, 30, 24 Ossipee Road, Cape Reddick, Maine, were arrested Monday at 7:05 p.m. and charged with possession of a class B substance to distribute. Trooper Bolcome made the arrests in Newburyport.
