SEABROOK — A True Road man charged with armed robbery is expected to be arraigned this morning at Seabrook Circuit Court following his arrest Friday evening behind his house.
Local police say 28-year-old Brett Duggan robbed an acquaintance living at the Cimarron Apartments on Batchelder Road around 9:30 p.m. No weapons were known to have been used, as the suspect used physical force to rob his victim. Police did not reveal what Duggan allegedly stole.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the police arriving. After a multi-agency search, Duggan was arrested without incident at approximately 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning behind his residence at 32 True Road. He was charged with armed robbery and bail was set at $2,500 cash. Duggan was transferred to the Rockingham County Department of Corrections.
Any relationship between the suspect and the victim is not being released; however, the incident was not random. The case is still under investigation, according to police.
The Hampton, Hampton Falls and Kensington police departments as well as the New Hampshire State Police K-9 unit assisted in this investigation.
