Spaghetti Supper at Union Church today

Union Congregational Church, 350 Main St., Point Shore, Amesbury (across from Alliance Park), will host a Spaghetti Supper today from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Spaghetti with homemade sauce, meatballs, bread, salad and dessert. “All you can eat!” for $8. Bean supper in Groveland today

St. James Episcopal Church will be having their second bean supper of the season today in Parish Hall, 119 Washington Street, Groveland. Baked beans (both pea and kidney), hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw and homemade desserts will be served. Adults, $7; children, $3. Italian Dinner today at Pilgrim Church

Plenty of good food and company will be on hand when the Pilgrim Congregational Church hosts an Italian dinner on today, 4:30-6:30 p.m. All are welcome. Available at the door, tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 6-12 years with children under 6 years admitted free of charge. Turkey Dinner at Salisbury church today

East Parish United Methodist Church will be having its annual Turkey Dinner today, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Cost is $9 per person, children 6 and under, $6. All meals include beverage and dessert. Takeouts are also available. The church is located at 8 Lafayette Road, Salisbury Square. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Special brunch tomorrow at St. Paul’s

A Stewardship Brunch in Parish Hall will follow the 9 a.m. single service tomorrow at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 166 High St., Newburyport. There will be no Adult or Youth Forum tomorrow; the forums will resume on Nov. 3.

‘Lessons from Lizards’ tomorrow at First Religious Society

Tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the First Religious Society, 26 Pleasant St., Newburyport, the Rev. Eliza Blanchard will offer a sermon titled “Lessons from Lizards.” She is a spiritual counselor for people working with animals and those who live with them. She also offers Pet Loss Circles, gatherings of support for those grieving animal companions.
