NEWBURYPORT

The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

John W. Strausser, 26, 75 Willow St., Woburn, was arrested Wednesday at 1:32 a.m. and charged with trespassing. Officers Gregory Whitney and Eric Marshall made the arrest on Storey Avenue.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Jason A. Noury, 36, 141 Beach Road, No. 17, Salisbury, was arrested Wednesday at 7:31 p.m. and charged with two counts of domestic assault and battery on a child. Officers Keith Forget and Richard Dellaria made the arrest on Beach Road.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the West Newbury police log:

Jason Gore Jr., 18, 184 School St., Groveland, was arrested Wednesday at 9 p.m. and charged with two counts of illegal possession of fireworks, possession of a class D substance, possession of a class D substance to distribute and no inspection sticker. Officer Timothy Rivet and Sgt. Daniel Cena made the arrest on Main Street.

GROVELAND

The following item was recorded in the Groveland police log:

Mark A. Adams, 49, 11 Barnside Road, Boxford, was arrested Wednesday at 4:25 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection sticker. Officers Michael Traister and Joshua Sindoni made the arrest on School Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Justine Monica Jacobs, 27, 501 Mount Auburn St., Lawrence, was issued a summons Wednesday at 1:52 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after revocation. Trooper Campbell issued the summons in Haverhill.

Dustin Hernandez, 31, 31 Eutaw St., No. 2, Lawrence, was arrested Wednesday at 2:50 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Trooper Cormier made the arrest in Lawrence.

Jason A. Johnpier, 36, 4 Holbrook Lane, No. 22, Westford, was arrested Wednesday at 2:05 p.m. and charged with possession of a class B substance. Trooper Flanagan made the arrest in Haverhill.

Jorge Perez, 24, 16 Vine St., Haverhill, was issued a summons Wednesday at 3:32 p.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. At the same time, David Rodriquez, 16 Vine St., Haverhill, was issued a summons for allowing unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Trooper Grimes issued the summonses in Amesbury.
