Local farmers and recreational gardeners alike exhibited their fresh-grown produce and wares at the first Farmers Market on the Rowley Town Common yesterday. The market is open every Sunday through September from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Past markets have featured homemade honey, hand-picked herbs and even some handmade baked goods, along with produce from the larger local farms and some backyard farms. No craft items are allowed and everything sold must be something that is produced by the seller.
Tables are available for free and can be reserved. Contact the Rowley agricultural commission for more information.
