Tiny House Heads to College

For the last two months, Elizabeth Turnbull has been building her own house in Byfield. But she'll live in it in New Haven, Conn., when she starts graduate school at Yale University later this month. The 25-year-old Governor's Academy graduate is building a home with only 132 square feet of interior space. She calls it her Tiny House. She's using energy efficient materials and "green" technology in the construction and she's getting ready to haul the Tiny House to New Haven on a flat-bed trailer.
