VIDEO:Ashes to Go

The Rev. Susan Esco Chandler and Jim Chapman, who is starting the process to become a church deacon, spent part of the morning on Ash Wednesday providing "Ashes to Go." Ashes to Go is a new movement in the Episcopal church to give people who can't attend the church service an opportunity to receive ashes. Ashes to Go started in St. Louis, Mo., and this is the first time St. James Episcopal Church is offering the service in Amesbury.
