Newburyport — In recognition of the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil war, the Daily News is reposting a popular slideshow we first presented four years ago. Hundreds of Civil War reenactors gathered in Amesbury to recreate a Civil War camp, and to hold skirmishes. The colorful event made for an interesting photo essay by Daily News photographer Jim Vaiknoras. We hope you enjoy the show.
