Amesbury — Judith A. (Justin) Belanger, 57, of Amesbury, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine on September 13.
The daughter of the late John and Ferolyn (Worthen) Justin, Judith was born in Amesbury on December 5, 1954. She was educated in Amesbury schools and was a graduate of Amesbury High School. She received her certification as a Certified Nurse's Assistant (C.N.A.) from nursing school. She was currently employed as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at Lakeview House in Haverhill. She was an avid cross-country skier, down-hill skier, kayaker, and camper. She enjoyed watching wildlife and especially the outdoors. She also loved reading and helping other people.
Judith is survived by her husband and best friend of 38 years, Richard R. Belanger of Amesbury; her canine friend "Molly"; two brothers and their wives, George and Rochelle Justin of Chichester, N.H., and Owen and Stella Justin of Plaistow, N.H.; four sisters, Mary Jean Ballard of Amesbury, Ferolyn Harris and her husband Melvin of Amesbury, Carol Pettis and her husband James of Farmington, N.H., and Rosie Dragon of Amesbury; among her many nieces and nephews is "her special niece", Marny Dragon. Judith is also survived by a brother-in-law, Joseph A. Belanger of Cape Coral, Fla., and a sister-in-law and her husband, Annemarie and Jeff Davis of Bucks Harbor, Maine.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 17, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish Church, School St., Amesbury. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, September 16, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the E. V. Jutras and Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend Street, Amesbury, MA 01913.
