Amesbury — Ruth Jane (McGlew) Broyer, 88, passed away peacefully with family by her side and has joined her husband of 61 years, William Broyer, her many brothers, sisters and family members.
Ruth leaves 10 children, William and Susan Broyer of Kensington, N.H.; Thomas Broyer of Newton, N.H.; Bruce and Terry Broyer of Chico, Calif.; Kathy (Broyer) and Chris Tedford of Brentwood, N.H.; Regina (Broyer) Johnson and William Belanger of Newburyport, Robert and Terry Broyer of Hampton, N.H.; Sergeant Alan and Cynthia Broyer of Lovell, Maine; Michelle Broyer of Fryeburg, Maine; Lawrence Broyer and Allison Shaw of Wakefield, N.H., and David and Gina Broyer of Kingston, N.H., as well as 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; a loving sister, Anna Osborne of Amesbury, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Anne St. Cyr of Salisbury and Rita Allen of Knoxville, Tenn.
Ruth had a wonderful life and we were blessed to have her. We treasure the memories of all the great times at camp. May she rest in peace with her husband and brothers and sisters in heaven, watching over all of us until we meet again.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be Monday, Oct. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church of the Holy Family Parish, 2 School St., Amesbury.
