Plumb Island and Newburyport, MA — The family of Paul is sad to announce the sudden death of Paul Adolph. Paul suffered a heart attack and passed quietly and in his sleep.

He was a longtime resident of Plumb Island, and the surrounding area.

Paul served 16 years in the Army Reserve at the 101st Engineers in Newburyport. Paul retired in 2004, a disabled Gulf War veteran.

Paul was an avid golfer, who was going to school for golf course management. Paul had resided at the Bedford VA Hospital Bedford, Mass.

Paul is survived by his brothers and sisters, Robert Adolph, Susan Akeley, Donna Atwell, Mark Adolph, David Adolph, Christine Gallagher, and Peter Adolph; as well as long time friend, Norman Hinds.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Sunday, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Conte, Twomey and LeBlanc Funeral Home, 193 High Street, Newburyport, Mass. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, at 10 a.m., in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newburyport, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Newburyport. Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife, Lauren (Staffiery) Adolph.

They are both missed greatly.
