Cynthia I. (Rabinovitz) Satz

Walpole — Cynthia Irene (Rabinovitz) Satz, age 70, most recently of Walpole, formerly of Newburyport, died early Friday morning, March 22, 2013, at the Norwood Hospital in Norwood.

Born in Concord, N.H., June 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late, William and Sadie (Silber) Rabinovitz. After graduating from high school and completing a two-year secretarial school, Cynthia went on to work for a local moving company.

She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, always ready to help in any way that was needed. She shared with them her love of all animals, and, as an art teacher, shared with them not only her love and appreciation of art, but also many beautifully crafted pieces of art.

Her survivors include her two daughters, Dina L. Frost and husband, Donald of Walpole and Teri Satz of Portsmouth, N.H.; her two granddaughters, who were her pride and joy, Lindsey and Kayla Frost; her longtime companion, Douglas Maroney and his son, Michael Perry; along with cousins, Al Seaman and wife, Joanne and their children, Danny and Lauren; and Dottie Silber. She was predeceased by her cousin, Alan Silber.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Sunday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at the Newburyport Hebrew Cemetery, Toll Road Extension, Salisbury. Following the graveside service, the family invites you back to 415 Ocean Road, Portsmouth, N.H. for a gathering of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 or to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
