Hampton Beach — Janice A. Locke, 63, died on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, following a period of declining health.
She was born on March 21, 1950, in Newburyport, and was the daughter of the late Pat and Emma (Shorey) Dineen. Mrs. Locke resided many years in Hampton, coming from Seabrook.
She worked for the former Towle Silversmiths in Newburyport, and later for Tech-Ceram of Amesbury. Her family was central in her life, and she adored her pets, especially her dog, Angel.
Family members include her husband, Edwin F. Locke, Jr., and son, Edwin F. Locke III, both of Hampton; her daughter, Deanna Terry and husband, Peter, of Rochester; a granddaughter, Kylee Locke; a brother, Patrick Dineen of Lincoln, Maine; two sisters, Donna Buckley of Billerica, Mass., and Andrea Gilian of Palatka, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, August 28, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
