Amesbury, MA — Wendell Fuller Jr., 79, passed away on Saturday at Kindred Care and Rehab in Newburyport. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., and was the son of the late Wendell Sr. and Miriam (Hitchcock) Fuller. He was the husband of the late Alice (McDowell) Fuller, who passed away in 2007.
He attended Haverhill schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School. He went on to work many years as a lineman for Mass Electric until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted father and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all of them.
He is survived by three sons, Brian Fuller and wife, Kathy, of East Kingston, N.H., Scott Fuller and wife, Patty, of Salisbury, Mass., and Mark Fuller and wife, Kim, of Amesbury; three daughters, Cheryl Quinn and husband, Jack, of Fremont, N.H., Pamela Clark and companion, Art Gourgue of Amesbury, and Karen Ort and husband, Jeff, of Kehei, Maui, Hawaii; his dear friend Diane Chagnon; two brothers, James Fuller and wife, Norma, of Maine, and Daniel Fuller and companion, Melanie Christion of Massachusetts; two sisters, Judy Berry and husband, Gordon, of Florida, and Lynda Lynch and husband, Jerry, of Maine; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and his dog, Benji.
