Epping, NH — Julia (Raymond) Ouellet died peacefully on Sunday evening, at her daughter's home. She was born in Derry, N.H., and was the daughter of the late Carl and Edna (Davis) Raymond. For more than 50 years, she was the loving wife of the late Eugene Ouellet, who passed away in May of 2001.
Julia graduated from Merrimac High School, and went on to work many years at CBS Hytron in Newburyport. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and watching the Patriots.
She leaves two daughters and their husbands, Carol (Ouellet) Maynard and husband, Kenneth, of Epping, N.H., and Jean (Ouellet) Cross and husband, David, of Fremont, N.H.; her grandchildren, William Worthen and his fiancée Lynn Pesci of Amesbury, Craig Worthen and his wife, Laurie, of San Jose, Calif., David Cross and his wife, Ashley, of Hampton, N.H., Andrew Cross of Leominster, Mass., and Shawn (Maynard) Perreault and husband, Ray, of Fremont; her great-grandchildren, James, Justin and Julianna Worthen of Amesbury, and Max and Paige Perreault of Fremont; her sister, Barbara Wilbur; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Earl and Buddy Raymond; and her sisters, Elsie DeGuio, Lily Boetti, Sybil Peaslee, and Pearl Senter.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass for Julia will be celebrated this Friday, February 7, at 10:30 a.m., in the Holy Family Parish Church, 2 School St., Amesbury, with burial to follow Union Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the Mass, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., Amesbury.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
